Macrame originated in the 13th century Arab world and has been widely used over the centuries in the nautical industry. Gaining mainstream popularity in the 1970's, it dominated trends for the decade. However this intricate style of knotting has made a comeback and is highly suited to Boho-styled weddings and events.
Our Macrame range currently includes various similar but handmade and unique lampshades as well as two different sizes of hanging bowls. These boho lampshades include a single naked Edison globe while the macrame bowls are suited to rice lights and LED tea lights.
